Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 28, 2026

Welcome to our sourdough bakery website and web application (collectively, the “Service”). The Service includes the public-facing website, the customer ordering application, the customer account portal, and the seller and admin dashboards. By accessing or using any part of the Service, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About This Service

This Service is operated by a personal, home-based hobby bakery located in Minnesota. We are not a registered business. All baked goods are made in small batches in a home kitchen and sold directly to customers for pickup.

The Service consists of:

  • A public website where visitors can browse products, ingredients, and upcoming order windows
  • A customer application where registered users can place orders, track order status, and manage their account
  • A seller dashboard used by the bakery operator to manage products, order windows, and fulfillment
  • An admin panel used to manage accounts, categories, and site-wide operations
Minnesota Home Kitchen Notice: Products sold through this Service are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture or any other state or local regulatory agency. This disclosure is provided in accordance with Minnesota’s cottage food laws.

2. Orders & Order Windows

Orders are taken through limited-time order windows (drops). By placing an order, you agree to the following:

  • Orders are only accepted during an open order window. Orders cannot be placed before a window opens or after it closes.
  • All orders are for pickup only. We do not offer delivery.
  • Order quantities are limited per window and per customer. Once an order window sells out, no further orders will be accepted for that window.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order window at any time due to circumstances such as ingredient unavailability, illness, or other unforeseen events. If your order is cancelled, you will be notified and any Venmo payment made will be refunded.

3. Payment

Payment is accepted in two forms only:

  • Cash — paid in full at the time of pickup.
  • Venmo — paid prior to pickup using the Venmo link provided at checkout. Venmo payments are made directly to the bakery operator and are not processed through this Site.

This Site does not collect, process, or store any payment card information. We are not responsible for any issues arising from Venmo transactions, including disputes, failed payments, or unauthorized use of your Venmo account.

4. Pickup

Pickup details (location, date, and time window) will be provided in your order confirmation. It is your responsibility to arrange pickup within the stated window. We are not responsible for orders that are not collected during the designated pickup time.

5. Food Allergens & Ingredients

Ingredient lists are provided for each product on this Site to the best of our ability. However, all products are made in a home kitchen where common allergens — including but not limited to wheat/gluten, eggs, dairy, tree nuts, and soy — are present. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from cross-contamination.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please review all ingredient information carefully before ordering. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of purchasing food made in a shared home kitchen environment.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Because our products are perishable and made to order in limited quantities, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges once an order is placed, except in cases where we cancel an order window (see Section 2).

If you have a concern about the quality of a product you received, please contact us directly and we will do our best to make it right.

7. Accounts & Application Access

You may create a customer account to place orders, track order status, and manage your information within the application. By creating an account, you agree to the following:

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials (email and password) secure and confidential.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering. Do not impersonate another person or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
  • Your account is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your account with others.
  • We are not liable for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
  • The application is provided for the sole purpose of browsing products and placing legitimate orders. Use of the application for any other purpose is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the application.
  • You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your order history and personal information will be permanently removed from our system.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent order quantity limits, order window restrictions, or any other application controls.
  • Submit false, fraudulent, or duplicate orders.
  • Attempt to access any part of the application you are not authorized to use, including seller or admin areas.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or reproduce any part of the application or its underlying code.
  • Introduce malicious code, bots, or automated scripts that interact with the application in unintended ways.
  • Interfere with the performance or availability of the Service for other users.

We reserve the right to cancel orders, deactivate accounts, or block access for any user who violates these terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all products offered through it are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the continuous availability of the Service, the accuracy of product descriptions, the uninterrupted operation of the application, or the outcome of any order. The application may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the bakery operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, the application, or consumption of products purchased through it. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, inability to access your account, application errors, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Minnesota.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please reach out to us directly through the contact information provided on this Site.
