Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 7, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to your personal data. This policy applies to the full Service — including the public website, the customer ordering application, the customer account portal, and the seller and admin dashboards. This Service is operated by Borsheim Homestead Collective, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the Service and fulfill orders.

Information you provide directly:

  • Name and email address (when creating an account)
  • Password (stored as a secure one-way hash — we cannot read your password)
  • Contact information provided at checkout (name, phone or email)
  • Payment method selection (Cash or Venmo) — we do not collect any payment account details

Information generated by your use of the application:

  • Order history, including items ordered, quantities, order window, payment method selected, and order status
  • Account activity such as login timestamps
  • Basic usage data such as pages visited and browser type, collected via standard web server logs

Information collected automatically:

  • Session tokens used to keep you logged in across pages
  • Server logs that may include your IP address and browser information

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party ad networks, or sell your data to anyone.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Create and maintain your account within the application
  • Process and fulfill your orders
  • Display your order history and status within the application
  • Communicate with you about your order status and pickup details
  • Allow the seller to manage and fulfill orders through the seller dashboard
  • Improve the performance and functionality of the Service
  • Investigate and resolve any issues with orders or account access

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we do not send unsolicited emails.

3. How We Store Your Information

Your data is stored in a secured database hosted on Google Cloud (Google Cloud SQL) in the United States. We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store:

  • Credit card numbers or payment account credentials
  • Government-issued ID or financial information
  • Sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above

Venmo payments are made directly through Venmo’s platform. We never see or store your Venmo credentials or account details.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • As required by law or valid legal process (e.g., a court order)
  • To protect the safety or rights of users or the public

Our hosting infrastructure uses Google Cloud services. Google’s infrastructure privacy practices apply to data stored on their servers. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

6. Cookies & Session Data

This Service uses session cookies to keep you logged in. These are functional cookies only — they are not used for advertising or tracking across other websites. You may disable cookies in your browser, but doing so may prevent you from logging in or completing an order.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics platforms that share data with advertisers.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information in your account
  • Delete your account and associated personal data
  • Opt out of any non-essential communications

To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly through the Service. We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children’s Privacy

This Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
